What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte Insights is Deloitte’s global publishing imprint for business research and insights. We publish 400+ articles, reports, and multimedia projects annually with the goal of educating, informing, and inspiring Deloitte clients and prospective clients on the business issues that matter most to their strategic agendas. From leadership and workforce evolution, to AI and emerging technologies, to energy resilience and decarbonization, and beyond, Deloitte Insights (DI) publishes data-driven thought leadership for global C-suite and board-level executives across industries.

As a global senior editor and content strategist covering technology and AI for Deloitte Insights, you’ll work with AI and tech subject matter specialists, researchers, data science and visualization professionals, designers, video strategists, and production specialists to develop research and insights projects ranging from reports and articles to infographics and videos. Your responsibilities will include:

Leverage AI and technology subject matter expertise, business acumen, and editorial skills to collaborate with Deloitte business leaders, thought leaders, researchers, and marketing teams to develop and execute research and insights projects for the Deloitte global member firm network.
Act as a journalist covering a global AI and technology beat, building relationships with Deloitte professionals, amplifying thought leadership, and serving as a trusted advisor on content strategy and insights opportunities.
Ensure the intellectual rigor, credibility, and accuracy of published insights by evaluating data sources, methodology, claims, statistics, assumptions, and conclusions in collaboration with researchers and subject matter experts.
Evaluate insights projects for novelty in the generative AI era, alignment with audience needs, and relevance to Deloitte’s expertise and business priorities to deliver differentiated client value.
Serve as a storytelling strategist, determining the most effective content formats and leveraging multimedia and multimodal approaches across reports, articles, infographics, videos, and dashboards.
Adapt content development support as needed, serving as a ghostwriter, editor, infographic copywriter, or scriptwriter, and applying the appropriate level of editorial intervention based on project requirements.
Advise authors on messaging, audience engagement, clarity, accuracy, novelty, utility, and editorial best practices while preserving their voice and objectives.
Champion business audiences by applying a deep understanding of content consumption behaviors to shape content strategy and delivery.
Manage projects through the full content development lifecycle, coordinating with authors, designers, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure objectives, expectations, quality standards, and timelines are met.
Edit content for factual accuracy, readability, grammar, punctuation, flow, style, and compliance with SEO and GEO best practices.
