To join our team as a Support Specialist I and help deliver a residential energy affordability and greenhouse gas reduction program in British Columbia. We’re a close-knit group that’s passionate about reducing emissions and enjoys collaborating with each other—and the public—to make a difference. In this role, you’ll work directly with residents to understand their needs and help them find the best energy-saving solutions for their homes.

Although this is a remote position an ideal candidate is located in British Columbia. You must be available to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

You’re a great fit if you can…

Respond to inbound calls and emails from program participants, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing accurate and helpful information about the program requirements.
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including hold times and after-call wrap up time.
Provide support with application reviews and other administrative tasks.
Work regular full-time hours based on Pacific Standard Time.

Exciting candidates will have…

0-1 years of experience in a customer-facing role; call centre experience is an asset but not required.
Post-secondary education is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Oral fluency in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Punjabi, or Tagalog is a strong asset.
Interest in sustainability, energy efficiency or building science

Targeted Compensation Range

$20-$22/h

Canadian Commercial Driving Requirements

If applicable, meet all qualification, licensing, medical, and compliance requirements for commercial drivers under applicable provincial and territorial laws, the Canadian National Safety Code (NSC), and any federal regulations for extra‑provincial operations, including hours‑of‑service and safety fitness requirements.
