Role Overview

Systems Engineer is a key member of the sales organization, responsible for driving technical strategy and execution across the sales lifecycle. This role partners closely with Account Executives, partners, and customers to design, demonstrate, and position Extreme Networks solutions that address complex business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies and technical sales plans, designing and architecting secure, scalable networking solutions, delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations, and providing consultative guidance across networking domains.

Requirements

7–10+ years of experience in systems engineering, pre-sales engineering, or related technical roles
Strong expertise in networking technologies including switching, routing, wireless, and security
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures
Experience delivering customer-facing presentations, demos, and technical workshops
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex customer engagements
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
